Oh and, we'd go to my grandparents house in south Georgia. Population in the town is 300. After they're gone, nobody's gonna troll through there in search of brains or loot. They have a house, a barn, another metal barn, and 3 cars. Not to mention the fourwheeler. If all else fails, my cousin's house is a mile away, and there's a church one mile the opposite direction. Now that's options. Weapons? My grandpa is a hunter. Nuff said.
