Hi SFF!

I agree too.

It wasn't the piece of paper for us really. It was a further step to showing our committment to each our and our family and friends. We had a day that celebrated us, not traditional.

Both of my parents are divorced, and my dad is on his third.I know how stupid it all can be.

We found that things changed once we got married , like we found that small problems HAD to be addressed or we'd have to live with them causing trouble.

Anyway, there are happy stories out there and no matter what you choose to do there should still be a commitment.
