The other thing i missed in the Bruce MacDonald lineup was the Black Christmas panel. (i was bummed i missed it)
John Saxon, Art Hindle, Lynne Griffin, as well as a couple of others were there.
One good thing is that they came back to the Anchor Bay booth to do a free signing ...long ass line but i had to be there as i wanted Black Christmas signed as well as Enter the Dragon .. one for me and one for my son's Tai Kwan Do teacher. It was nice to get a chance to meet these people as well..
went back to the regular signing area - by now it's dinner time - to find that Brad Dourif's line was very short. Actually - around 5:30 - 6:00 most signing lines are almost empty. So I popped in to get my copy of One Flew Over the Cucoo's nNest signed. I also wanted Exorcist III signed but i would have to hit a bank machine first. The ATMs were empty so i had to walk all the way back to the north end of the complex. Let me explain :
work my way out of the con main floor, across a lobby full of people dressed up like Narurto and Jedis, up an escalator, across a huge lobby, up another escalator, across a lobby, up an escalator, then another escalator - then across a long walk way, down an escalator, then another escalator ...then i had to get money and go all the way back.
I had to do this in 1/2 because the Wes Craven meet and greet was in a bar across the road about 35 minutes from then.
I arrived back and walked right back to Brad Dourif to get Ex III signed - which we chatted about for a bit .. then got the picture taken. (he doesnt smile in any of his pictures by the way)
I had made better time than i thought so i scooted over to see Lloyd Kaufman (Troma) to get Toxic Avenger signed. (he signs for free so i bought Zombigeddon) Before getting my pic - i felt i'd better get a picture of his assistant playing with the lego batman girls.
Lloyd is a very goofy guy who makes wise cracks non-stop .. probably a blast to hang out with.
