There was talk of Spiderman 3 selling more tickets because of the change in ticket costs and with these numbers I have no doubt in my mind that Star Wars will have still sold more tickets than TDK. While it's hard to really gauge the whole thing because that number includes Star Wars' re-release in 1977 ticket prices Averaged $2.23, today we're around $7.08! I have to go see TDK in IMAX again though...
