Thanks for the feedback guys. I hear what you're saying, and I agree! We should not be scared to blend genres. the book is a love story superimposed onto a horror/action adventure, and it uses lots of humour, usually dark slapstick! Why can't the film be the same? No reason what-so-ever!

I shall approach the producer's with exactly this proposal.
