it's kind of hard for a woman (or young woman i guess) to be confident isn't it? there's society all around us telling us that we need to be a certain way. if a woman isn't how most are portrayed in magazines and such their shunned...or just don't have really good selfesteem. and most of the time guys are intimidated by smart woman...at least the ones that aren't smart themselves.

and isn't there a kind of double standard here? it's okay for a younger guy to date and older girl and even an older guy to date a younger girl. but it's considered perposterous if an older girl dates a younger guy. anyone else notice this? it's sad in most cases, but i guess the years of listening to my stepdad bitch about it have gotten to me. personally, i think his opinion isn't worth shit, but his views on life still piss me off to no end.
