We finally made it to the Final Challenge here at Battle Royale for the Undead! So, if you're still alive...er here, pat yourself on the back for making it this far! :)
Here's where the game changes as the teams are now disbanded and that this
Final Challenge will be an individual challenge as we are hoping for a single winner here (though a tie could be possible).
Regarless of who wins this Final Challenge, everyone will participate in the Final Outing, where everyone will have a weapon. Depending on how you fare in this Final Challenge will give you additional re-animation packs and/or a variety of weapons, with the best weapons going to the winner and the lest effective going to the loser.
The Final Outing will also be broken into two rounds where the survivors from Round One will get to battle again in Round Two receiving additional weapons, but no additonal re-animation packs. Your standings in the Final Challenge will carry through to both Rounds of the Final Outing.
There will also be both good and bad surprises to come in the Final Outing, but more details on that after the Final Challenge.
I know you've all had to do a lot of research to find the answers to the challenges in this competition, so to tie all that together, here is your
Final Challenge:
Picking one of the genre specific topics from the past challenges here at Battle Royale for the Undead, which are:
1950's Monster/"B" Movies
1980's Slashers
Horror Comedies
Horror Musicals!
Foreign Horror (non-English-speaking and non-Asian films)
Write a short essay describing what you consider to be the defining film in that genre and why. The film can be one of the films mentioned in a question from that challenge, or it can be just another film in that particular genre.
Please submit your essays to me via PM by
Tuesday, June 17th at noon EST.
Judging your essays will be a freshly re-animated previous player here at Battle Royale for the Undead--
V!
[Applause and Hoorays! heard amongst the crowd]
I will be forwarding all your essays to V for his review and judgement. I will also strike your names from the essays before forwarding them and assign a alphabetical letter instead so that V's review will remain unbiased.
The essays will be reviewed on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score. V will then send me his judgement via PM which I will post along with the awards and standings for the Final Challenge.
Good Luck Contestants! :)
