I believe they were scientists, but they were at work researching and studying this space craft. The ship in question was a little taller than a man, and was either egg-shaped or round. White was the color, I believe. It was located in a cave. I think it may have been excavated. I remember for a long time at the beginning of the movie the two people were working on a way to open the ship or get inside. After some time they do. I believe it was the man. I think he got inside and started seeing weird colors or signs, as if being inside and seeing something made him shocked or scared. Maybe he was having visions of the pilots, I'm not too sure. I know that the person siside the craft was getting scared very badly.
