I am a HUGE sucker for sea/lake/river/body-of-water monsters.

That legend is pretty damn cool, Return. Have any "pictures" been taken?

Vod - I know what you mean by Bigfoot. I used to be fascinated with him when I was younger (I think that it's because that's the most famous bit of Cryptozoology that we're introduced to as younger kids), but now the interest doesn't hold as true. However, I am pretty willing to suspend my disbelief that there is some hulking missing link somewhere... The only problem is that if there's one, there has to be many (also the problem that I have with my water monsters... but I try to keep that "problem" to myself).

There's the Giant Turtles, of course, one of them being the one supposedly living in Hanoi's Hoan Kiem Lake.



CNN reported on it and posted an "amateur video," which I'm pretty disappointed in. Looks so incredibly fake:

I can believe in giant turtles, though. Especially since they're still around AND ancient creatures to begin with.
