There is nothing wrong with friendship as a jumpoff point. Too many people date people they barely even like as human beings. Of course, it might be fun having sex with someone you barely even like, but you could be having sex later with somebody you do like who you can actually do non sexual things with. Boyfriends screw in cabinets too. If they don't, they get screamed at. If you do, you get the girl thinking. There will be some near misses, but in the end, you sink the battleship, you get to play again and you're with somebody who you can actually stand. Everything another man can do that the last asshole someone dated can't is sexy.
