I'm the same way - I've really only "dated" (as in "gone on dates with people I didn't really know) a couple of times, but they didn't go very far.
All of my other relationships were friends that just...
worked out well. :) That's what happened with me and my current beau. I met him at work, became fast best friends and, well...
