i agree ... but how old was a indestructable guy in a mask walking slowly through the forest with a machette ?
it was done about 500 times in the 80's and no one complained.
the sameness of the j horror films bugged me after a while too - but putting it in perspective - i'll take it over the other standard horror crap thats been done over and over again.
