its been like day and night. he's doing excellent in school, and in soccer.
he went from being an unfocused kid to being one of the brightesty in the bunch .. and after 3 years of soccer .. he scored his forst goal on his last game this year - quite a milestone for this kid ..

That is easily THE news of THE year. For him to make such a remarkable comeback...especially when he had no outside support...is truly amazing. I am sure you, as a Dad, score all the points here. Dont deny it.
I am really happy and touched to know this...and I sincerely hope and pray he has the most happiest life and brightest career anyone can get.

Also saw one of the members of Goblin with a couple of other fellows play all the major Goblin movie themes live - i almost died - it was unbelievable.
Then - Coralina Cataldi -Tassoni (Demons II, Opera, Mother of Tears) came onstage to sing one of her songs - and then provide vocals ("the witch, the WITCH') to the Suspiria theme. incredible night.
I took photos and presented a disc of them to Coralina at the con the next day and she used them on her private web page as well as her myspace.

You lucky bastard!:D
I would gleefully give a hand or a leg to meet Goblin and Coralina! I envy you so much now...but its all good. She has a remarkably bewitching voice...it would have been mouth-watering to hear her face-to-face.

On eof the pictures I took was used in March Fangoria - the one that's out right now. Just a small picture - but i took it, my name is in there as a credit ... so after all these years - i got something published in a magazine - let alone a horror rag :)

Roger Waters! Where was this...at Toronto? And its good to see the young one appreciate the fine arts. He is showing a knack of appreciating them...maybe someday he might make a career out of it.

I say...those are some pretty cool shots. Should have sent some of em to a nature mag or something...try shorelines at dusk/dawn, especially near a lake or on the backdrop of the cityline. Either way, the pics come out amazingly rich and life-like.

I dont like fighting.
I avoid it at all costs - it is the most useless endevour one can participate on a forum. I post as a form of relaxation.
Life is tough enough .. dealing with schools, work, traffic, bills, etc
I'm not interested in seeking out negativity. I expect every experience on a fourum to be pleasant or i'm just not interested.
thats my philosophy. took me a while to get here but what i learned is - nothing is gained by fighting on the internet. you CANNOT force people to think the same way you do no matter how right you think you are. so it's best to ignore what you don't like and concentrate on the positives. and when the former outweighs the latter - it's time to move on.

I cannot agree more. And I am REALLY glad you put everything behind and returned back.
A very insightful last year indeed...it was like turning the clock backwards one year and watch everything unroll slowly...things look a lot better on your front, thats for sure.
But I still got 2 questions :-
1 - How is your leg now? Completely recovered from the surgery you had like a couple yrs back?
2 - What about the weight loss program you were on? Shed any kilos recently?
