The more famous j-horror films I've seen (Ju-on, Ringu, Dark Water, and The Eye) are just not enjoyable to me. Ju-on and Ringu are lacking in plotline and are just not very scary. Dark Water was more boring than frightening and The Eye was the best of them.

It's possible I started off watching Audition and Kairo and my expectations became too high (seeing as how those are the two best horror films I've ever seen,) so I need to find another really good j-horror film to keep me going. Something disturbing and/ or creepy which won't leave me feeling disappointed.
