I totally agree! What little plotline that the first two movies managed to pull together was completly ruined by this movie's emphasis on over the top battle scenes and a new director. To me, the movie seemed to consist of dual storylines which split the film into two incomplete parts. Many segments even seemed to be just tossed in as a tribute to the other films. (The mansion, the lasers, the hive references.) Didn't we see smart zombies in Land of the Dead? Even then they seemed played out. Alice's character seemed more like the Terminator than a sentient, revenge-minded super woman. Why was Carlos there but not Jill or Angela and don't get me started on L.T. and his date with Ashanti. Since I did like the first two movies, I hate to see the series end like this, with no hope of T-Virus regeneration in sight.
