The complete opposite happens with me. First off, having some unknown person run their fingers through my hair has always been a very strange feeling to me. Don't like it all compared to some people I know. Secondly, when I ask for them to just cut it real short, they simply refuse. "Oh we'll just cut the tips". No... I want it cut off. For some reason, they always take it upon them to leave my hair long... as if they were taking away some of my femininity in cutting it. :p
