#1 The Eye
The Eye has some scenes that give me serious goosebumps, elevator scene is the scariest scene I've ever witnessed. I don't find the grudge scary at all now, just bad.... this movie still gets me. It kills me to put The Grudge on any list that could be seen as "good" but first time viewing I can deny the effect it had on me.

#2 The Sentinel
The Sentinel has a bunch of scary parts in it, there is one moment which scared me the most though and it's where the police are discussing the events leading up the murder with Alison's boyfriend. Don't want to give it away obviously, you'll have to watch. :p

#3 The Shining
The Shining doesn't need an explanation for why I found it scary..

#4 Nosferatu
Nosferatu is the first movie that really got under my skin and into my nightmares... for weeks. :(

#5 One Missed Call
Has probably the most disturbing scene in a horror movie EVER!

#6 Jaws

I used to not want to swim in the deep end of my grandmothers pool because of this movie. My uncle is a horrible person for letting me watch it when I was young.

#7 Black Christmas
The voice of the killer when he made calls in Black Christmas makes it seventh on my list.

#8 Event Horizon
Event Horizon is disturbing as hell. The visions of hell and the screams of the old crew were chilling.

#9 Let's Scare Jessica to Death
Lemora is a movie that is creepy and weird above all which made it scary when I saw it, it's in the same boat as Lemora: A Child's Tale of the Supernatural. Some people find it scary , some people find it weird.

#10 Alien
Alien is just full of seriously tense moments

edit: changed order
