I vote the Exorcist to be number one over the Shining, yes the shining was scary but the Exorcist is based on true facts and some of the people on the set started dying due to the antics of the movie. The Exorcist is the one scary movie that I really cannot even watch by myself. Even If I have company while watching I am still scared of going anywhere in the house by myself.
