Saw IV Unrated Director's Cut

Lions Gate Home Entertainment has officially announced Saw IV, which stars Tobin Bell, Scott Patterson, and Betsy Russell.

The Darren Lynn Bousman directed horror will be available to in seperate rated (95 minutes) and unrated (98 minutes) editions on January 22.

Each will retail at around $29.95.

A Blu-ray edition will also be available for $39.99.

Each will include an audio commentary with Producers Oren Koules and Mark Burg and Executive Producers Peter Block and Jason Constantine, a second commentary with Director Darren Lynn Boussman and Actor Lyriq Bent, Darren's Video Diary, featurettes on the traps and props of the film, a SAW IV Music Video by "X-Japan", and a bonus deleted scene.


Blade: The Series 4-disc set

The hunt is on as Blade continues the battle against his immortal bloodsucking enemies in Blade: The Series, arriving on DVD from New Line Home Entertainment on February 12, 2008.

Now, the complete series featuring all 13 extended, unrated and “too-graphic-for-TV” episodes, will be available in an action-packed, four-disc set.

Based on the wildly successful Blade franchise, Blade: The Series follows Blade (Sticky Fingaz of the infamous rap group Onyx; Dead Presidents, Next Friday), a unique half-breed with all of the strengths of the vampire species but none of their weaknesses, in his quest to destroy the entire vampire population and save humanity.

Blade: The Series will be available at a $39.98 SRP.


Catacombs uncut

Lions Gate Home Entertainment has announced an uncut release of Catacombs, which stars Shannyn Sossamon, and Pink (Alecia Moore).

The disc will be available to own on DVD February 19, and should retail at around $29.95.

The film itself will be presented in anamorphic widescreen, along with an English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround track. Extras will include an audio commentary with the Directors and Writers, a Descend into Catacombs making of featurette, and another featurette on the music.


Undead or Alive: A Zombedy on DVD

Image Entertainment presents the DVD release of South Park director Glasgow Phillips’ Undead or Alive on December 11th.

In this unusual take on the Old West, an innocent cowboy, Luke (Saturday Night Live's Chris Kattan) with his reluctant new partner, Elmer (James Denton, TV's Desperate Housewives) fleece a crooked sheriff and attempt to disappear in the desert. Only Geronimo's smart and beautiful niece Sue (Navi Rawat, TV's Numb3rs) can help them solve a mysterious Indian curse and escape from Sheriff Zombie's bloodthirsty posse.
