Wow! You think the Friday the 13th and Puppet Masters are great movies? The only movies you mention that are true gems are The Omen and The Exorcist which are not 80's films. They were made in the 70's (a far superior decade in terms of horror than the 80's). Other than the two you mentioned, the 70's had such classics as Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Last House on the Left, The Shining, Dawn of the Dead , Alien, Halloween, and even Jaws (I know some don't consider this exactly a horror film).

For the 80's, I can't think of too many films that were great. Aliens is easily the best film in this decade. The original Nightmare on Elm Street was OK. The Evil Dead movies were good.

90s horror? Skip 'em.

This century? There aren't that many of them. I like The Descent. 28 Day Later and 28 Weeks Later are pretty dang good as well.
