personally i think the problem with HDC is that good people have drifted out and - with some exceptions - haven't been replaced by people with the same levels of knowledge, passion, humor and good will
i like a lot of the newer posters - hell i don't really dislike anyone - but its really a matter of the newer folks just not having the same espirt de corpse - so to speak.
i remember coming on here for hours and posting in the stream of consciousness thread and a bunch of people just riffing off of each other and it didn't get stupid or mean or filthy or demeaning. that was the time on HDC that i still cherish and probably the reason i keep coming back - the vague hope that it will be like that again someday.
oh well - crabbie is right - i'm drunk again and probalby shouldn't be - or at least shouldn't be posting when i'm depressed and drunk (at 7:30 no less) but that's how i feel
