Well...not literally, but yeah.
I have just read through 3 issues of another AOD series by Dynamite (part of wildstorm) called AOD: From the Ashes.
I gotta say the Wildstorm/related AOD and general horror icon stuff is really well done, and a great read - they really respect the material.
I've yet to read FVJVA, but it looks awesome.

So yeah, I'd reccomend this one, and also any other horror icon stuff through wildstorm/dynamite - they're finally doing it
right.
