True, they disturb me a lot, but also they seem quite gratuitous. I've heard of irreversible, and I've got ITK uncut, ichi is a great film which doesn't seem to sicken me so much. Possibly because
those type of scenes are only a small part, the rest is set around revenge, like the hook and oil scene.
