A few new DVD date announcements -
- Rob Zombie's Halloween will hit DVD on December 12 from Genius Entertainment, no official word yet on extras.
- Lionsgate has announced the forthcoming release of Skinwalkers for 27th November for $28.99.
This film comes from director James Isaac, and follows a mother and son as they become targets of two rival skinwalker packs.
Skinwalkers will be presented in a widescreen aspect ratio with English audio tracks supporting Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS 6.1 ES, plus optional Spanish subtitles. Extra features are said to include: a director's commentary, deleted scenes, and a pre-visualisation and digital FX comparison.
- First Look Home Entertainment has announced that they will release An American Crime on DVD February 5, 2008, with an SRP of $26.98.
The film is based on the true story of a girl (Ellen Page) who's locked in a basement and tortured by her friend's mom. The DVD will be rated R with a widescreen transfer and optional Spanish subtitles, no extras revealed yet.
- Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced I Know Who Killed Me which stars Lindsay Lohan. This Chris Sivertson directed drama/thriller will be available to own from the 27th November, and should retail at around $26.96.
The disc will include both anamorphic widescreen and full screen presentations, along with English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround tracks. Extras will include an extended dance sequence, an alternate opening, an alternate ending, a blooper reel, and trailers. A Blu-ray release will also be available for around $38.96.
- Universal Home Entertainment is dumping White Noise 2: The Light in retailers on January 8.
