Opening credits role. The camera goes all CSI and there are lots of flashes in which photographs of attacked girls are shown. Show Sgt Kemal lay down a picture on Mothmans desk.

Kemal: Seven girls in three weeks. The Breakfast Beater is really moving quickly.

Mothman: So why do you think he's here?

Kemal: Well, it appears he stalks his victims for a couple of days before doing anything to them. Girl number three said she was attacked immediately after noticing a camera lense.

Mothman: But how does that add up to -

Kemal: I've been monitoring CCTV and I have noticed one thing.

He takes a tape out of his pocket and puts it in the television.

Kemal: See that girl there?

He points at Horrorobsessed walking out of the house. There is a sudden flash.

Kemal: And if we look two minutes earlier...

He rewinds the tape to show a couple of flashes.

Kemal: And if I pause...

He pauses and points to the silouhette of the top half of a body infront of the house window.

Kemal: We've identified the girl and right now one of the Constables is contacting her, but we looked at some CCTV where she works and....

He gets ot another tape and winds it back a bit. In the bottom corner Horrorobsessed gets into her car. There are a couple of flashes.

Kemal: The thing is, this tape could be the goldmine. If I rewind it a bit more, we can see somebody walk towards the bushes then disappear.

Mothman: Okay...is that him? Yeh. That could be good.

Kemal: See that hat he's wearing?

Mothman: Yeh, the black woolly one.

Kemal: Well there's a small marking on it's side and PC Jenna informed me hats like that are only sold in one place.

Mothman: Where?

Kemal: On Shakespeare Street, next to Readers Row. It's owner by somebody called...PhantomStranger. I'm just about to go and ask him about who may have bought one of these hats.

Kemal exits and Mothman looks down at some papers. He gets up, switches tapes again to the first one and rewinds it.

Mothman: What the...oh my god...KEMAL! KEMAL!!!

He quickly gets up and runs out. Fade to the inside of Yuki's. Posher, Ferret and Dante are having a drink.

Ferret: Went for a check up today...the doctors say...I'll never walk again.

Posher: What? No...they must've made a mistake.

Ferret: Apparently they made a mistake when operating. You see...hey found a slight tumor. Only small. But when they tried to get rid of it, somehow, they damaged several main arteries and my spine...

Dante: But...Can't they fix it?

Ferret: No, it's cut off the blood supply to both my legs. They're...they're going to have to be amputated.

Posher: You can sue them for that!

Ferret: I know, I know. And I will. But the only thing is...it wont bring my legs back will it? They say that the way they're going to do it...I might never be able to have sex again.

Dante: I...I don't know what to say.

Ferret: Just wheel me to VC's. I need to pick up some stuff for dinner.

Dante: How are you going to be able to cook?

Ferret: Well...I'll...Dammit! I don't suppose one of you could...

Newb: Don't worry. I'll do it. If you hadn't have given me a heads up about Bloodrayne...well, who knows what her and her psychopath husbandcould have done. Lucky I killed him while I had the-

Ferret: Oh yeh...that's another thing. The police called. He's not dead. He's in hospital.

Newb: WHAT! ARE THEY BLOODY INSANE?!

Ferret: WAIT! WHAT ABOUT MY GROCERIES?!

Too late. Newb has already run out of the bar and got into his car. Fade to the hospital and Newb is just pulling up. HE rushes up to the desk.

Newb: I need to see DudeGuadalupe. NOW!

Receptionist: I'm sorry, he's under police guard. Nobody can see him right now.

Newb: But I...fine. Can I go and see crabapple.

Receptionist: Yes. He's on floor 3 in a room of his own. Room Jessop.

He's about to get into a lift when it closes and a man with a breifcase mimesthe word sorry. He waits and gets the next one. He walks up to the door and hears some noises. He opens the door.

Crabapple: No...please don't! Please!

Newb creeps in and makes a motion to crab to remain quiet. He walks over to a table, behind the man with the briefcase who is now holding a silenced pistol. He picks up a syringe walks over behind the man. He presses the panic button then goes to stab the guy. The camera goes in slow motion.

Crab: NO!!!!

The guy turns around with the pistol held high. It is aligned with Newbs head. The gun fires and the camera shoots to a shot of the floor where you see newbs hand fall. In slow motion, several guards run in and look shocked at the scene. They tackle the man with the briefcase. Show the face of Newbs dead body, then the camera slowly fades into darkness and the ending credits role.




Well...that's today's segment folks. A bit of a sad ending seeing as Newb was one of the favourites but life isn't always easy. Until Friday, Happy reading!
