Apparently this has been around for awhile. Sci Fi had dropped the lid on it for some time (since the last couple years), but now it seems to have gotten green-lit.
They are also touting it as a sequel/companion piece of sorts, rather an out-and-out remake.
Either way...I dont see how it could better the Howard Hawks original or JC's remake/companion masterpiece. But oh well...wait and see...:rolleyes:
