Alright, let's take this step by step.

.) George Romero and John Russo write Night of the Living Dead, which is released in 1968 to fantastic applause.

.) Romero and Russo each break off to do their own branching Dead series. Romero's first sequel is Dawn of the Dead, which is released in 1978, also to fantastic applause.

.) Romero employs Italian horror legend Dario Argento to edit Dawn of the Dead for release in Italy and Spain. The result is Zombi, which releases to, you guessed it, fantastic applause.

.) Another zombie film already in production is completed after the release of Zombi. I don't know how they get past copyright laws in order to do this, but, in order to cash in on Zombi's success, the makers of the film release it as Zombi 2 in 1979. It does very well.

.) Those absent copyright laws pop up out of nowhere when it comes time to import Zombi 2 to other countries. Because of this, it can't be released under its "proper" English title Dawn of the Dead 2. In the USA, it is released simply as Zombie. In the UK, it is released as Zombie Flesh Eaters. It gains a sizable cult following.

.) The same company that released Zombi 2 realize they have another hit on their hands, and do what production companies are supposed to do: make repetitive and forgettable sequels. Thus, Zombi 3, with no plot connections to Zombi 2 aside from the name, is released in 1988.

.) Zombi 3 is released in the US as Zombie 3 (despite the fact that no "Zombie 2" was released stateside) and in the UK as Zombie Flesh Eaters 2 (those sensible Brits got it right).

.) Okay, this is where the gray area begins. As many as three or as few as zero sequels are made in Italy following Zombi 3. Whether any of these made it to the US under a different title or not, I don't know.

.) In the USA, some jackass decides to release "sequels" to the Zombie films that, in their original form (as far as I can tell) have absolutely NOTHING to do with Zombi 2 or Zombi 3 (not even the title). Most were made before the latter or even the former and some don't even feature zombies at all. Unfortunately, these people can't even keep their own bull**** straight, releasing two or more different movies under the same title (Zombie 4, 5, or 6).

Alright, my question is this: were any "official" Zombi sequels made and originally released under the title "Zombie 4+" in Italy. Not under some hack dub title in the States, but in Italy, where they should come from. Or was Zombi 3 the last official entry in the series?
