Yeah. A Disney Movie and a big failure at the box office. I liked it though. Jonathan Price's death at the end is pretty good as the carousel turns. Some of the camera work was hot and the set was cool. Overall atmosphere was very intense, but alas it didn't do the biz. It was a production beset by problems. It attempted pioneering special effects, but ended up staying with the 80s norm. Wasn't released for years after it was made.

The Tarantula scene was a reshoot to replace some of the pioneering effects that I mentioned.

I'd love to see a cut with intended effects.
