I liked The Phantom of the Opera :D
Dracula... I actually do prefer the movie versions, though I appreciate why the book made such an impact and is considered a classic. I have never really liked it much though.
The Bible.....well, I won't touch much on that....except to say that it is riveting read...:p
Now a lousy book that led to a great movie, Jaws.....the movie is FAR superior to the book.
