Yeah, I hear that the departed is loosely based on the first in a 3 film series called "Infernal Affairs".
Have yet to see either.
A lot of good points here..the fact of the matter is EVERYTHING has been done to an extent...if you notice it more in terms of horror, that'd be a combination of you noticing your preferred genre moreso, and the FACT that horror has not ever met with as much public approval as many other genres...therefore there's ALWAYS been less of it out there...over all I'd say the ratio has remained largely the same.
Funny, the person who started this thread probably thought it'd make some kind've negative splash, and more than likely hates the fact he started a half decent conversation...
