Metal in Horror movies is as white trash as wife beaters, Malt Liquor and cigarettes.
Metal has no place in horror movies. It's a stereotype. In fact, it will only make a horror movie seem silly. Imagine Jason killing a camp of kids with Drowning pool's "Let the bodies hit the floor" playing. It's cartoonish.
28 Days later had a perfect soundtrack. Instrumental pieces. Metal is contemporary and won't stand the test of time. 20 years from now, the music will be garbage. Me.... I can see in the future.
