I understand this point of view; but I have to say, I have been hurt far worse by some of my "real life" friends then the ones I have made online. It isn't often you can truly know someone. There is danger no matter how you meet someone. And the internet is another way of meeting people. I have made several really good friends online; good decent people. I met my husband online. You HAVE to be cautious, and understand that obviously there is risk, greater risk because it is easier to be fake when you are hiding behind a computer. You have to know not everyone has good intentions. Just be careful people, understand the risks you are taking, and if you are not an adult....DON'T take the risk. It isn't worth it.
