Just lightly panfried some sliced mushroom and onion in a little canola.
Took that out, and cooked up a large t-bone which I lightly seasoned, cooked medium rare. Threw some paprika, tumeric and oregano through the onion/mushroom mixture and threw it back in, served hot
with...
I actually had a quarterpounder in my bag from earlier so I decided to do something with it...reheated it, added my own cheese slice, some smoky bbq sauce, butter lettuce, and yellow roma tomato. Just a little dijon mustard on top.
I also made (while cooking) my garlic sauce which kicks all kinda ass...it changes here'n there depending on whether or not I have any fresh green herbs on hand, but generally its plain yhogurt (greek is good) as a base. I'll then dry-fry some cumin seeds, corriander seeds, and peppercorns. While they're heating up, I chop garlic, ginger, and red chilli with a little salt, which helps cut these things into a more paste-like consistancy due to it's abrasive makeup (Today I actually sweated off some of this mixture, leaving the other half raw) So, when the cumin...etc is starting to have a cooked aroma and colour, I remove those things from the pan, into the mortar&pestle, and grind them up into a fine powder.
Then I mix it all together (I usually use a little lemon juice and corriander leaf as well, but I had none on hand) with a small amount of smoky bbq sauce.
Using some of this with dinner too.
