Rant on and on...

I love to rant so here it is. You lot rant as well.

How many times has anyone been reading a book and the word 'til comes up (as in until) but it's spelt till. A till is that fucking thing at the checkout in a supermarket! 'Til is a shortened word for the word until. Therefore, there is an apostrophe in place of the un and the final part of the word. 'til. So why, does it say "and so, the two travelled for days on a diet of bread and cheese till they finally came across it. " HOW CAN THEY CHECKOUT ACROSS IT?! Bloody writers need to get their grammar right!
I would go on but can't be arsed at the moment.
