The first part of the movie did it in, actually.
***POSSIBLE SPOILER***
If they didnt concentrate so much on the sex, drugs and partying and tried to make the characters more believable, I think this could have been a more enjoyable movie.
Sadly that was totally overlooked and by the time the tortures started, the audiences had de-linked themselves from the characters and it went nowhere. The second half is pretty enjoyable actually.
If only the first part wasnt so fucked up, it would have been a helluva movie.
