I actually liked it quite a bit...it's kind of a less-farfetched (though nowhere near as good) Dawn of the Dead, as if this movie was Romero's sketch and he then evolved the ideas and added a bit more horror to make his masterpiece several years later.
Anyway, I'm sure you'll enjoy it, it's got that great panicky end-of-the-world-as-we-know-it feel that George trademarks so well.
