I have a theory that freaky fetishes are actually part of natural selection. Here I make the extreme distinction between someone who enjoys a fetish and someone who only desires a fetish. The human animal is programmed for sex for reproduction. The fact that it's pleasureable, etc. didn't enter into it until much later. The drive is there to ensure that we would take time from killing buffaloes with our bare hands and gathering berries long enough to do it and ensure the survival of the species. Someone who could only be excited by...oh, being touched by someone else's feet would not reproduce. I wonder if you went back to a time before the whole german fetish porn industry really broke in the 40's and exposed tons of people who wouldn't otherwise have thought of feet or elbows as the only appropriate spot to place...err...genitalia, if you would find that those people had some particular genetic issue that would have made them other than the perfect candidate to pass on genes. Everything else about sex from the odors of the body to what qualifies as attractive is based on that one thing, seems there must be some correlation.
