I've always been a bit of a sucker for space CGI though, I suppose. Just not the fast moving 'live-action' CGI, like for example the appalling Godzilla, which I think is already dating very quickly. IMO, Star trek TNG CGI still stands up very well to this day.

i fell asleep in godzilla, 3 times..aso i really can;t comment...
but yeah - anyway...What i loved about the cgi in that clip is that it wasn't really cgi-looking...Looks very natural to me..
cos - y'know..i've got loads of experience in watching planets move across the sun close up
