Absolutely.
I know I rave about
Profondo Rosso way too much, but it really is, in my opinion, not only the greatest giallo, but one of the most thrilling horror films of all time. It's an intricate web of style, mystery, comedy, and flat out terrifying horror.
I think
Se7en is a good suggestion, Rod, it does have kind of a style that would match yours, methinks.
