I witnessed my cat die. I didn't know what was wrong with it, I just knew something was wrong. At first I thought he was sick because he came in and just kept looking at me with this really sick/weak meow. So he lay down on the stairs and I got the cordless phone and called my dad, he was not sure what to do. As I was on the phone the cat got up and I saw all the blood that was on the stairs and I was like "oh god he's bleeding all over the stairs" my dad went to get a cat carrier from my uncle and I was getting all these towels and thinking I should keep him warm or something, but he just died slumped up against the door. Deep down I knew he needed to go to the vet, but I let it go on until I saw the blood because I knew that I couldn't get my dad to leave work without a reason obviously. On one hand I could have prevented it, on the other I don't know if the 1000$+ fee from the vet would have been doable anyway.

Most violent cat ever, one time everyone thought I tried to slit my wrist. It was that cat, I still have a permanent scar on my finger from another scratch. *sniff*
