Personally I was a huge comic book nerd when I was like 10 and then somewhere in middle school and high school I lost interest, I still liked the characters but I stopped buying comics, I wish I hadn't b/c then I could have gotten Ultimate Spider-Man #1 which is worth close to $1,000. Anyways, after X-Men came out I started going back to the comic shop and then recently my budy with all of the Ghost Rider comics got me going with him almost every week and I'm more of a Spider-Man Iron fan so that collection is slowly growing again. I have a decent sized X-Men collection consiting of Gambit's first appearnce, Rogue joining the X-Men, and most of the major events in the Onslaught storyline. So I lost the point of what I was trying to say which was that the movies have gotten people back into or started new readers in comics. However, I think that was a silent goal with Marvel doing all of these movies.
