Anyone else read this? Good book. Very rational, realistic, and well-written survival fiction. However, if you’re looking for a new twist to the genre, this doesn't have the bite. It features standard virus-driven zombies, both fast and slow, and the main plot isn’t exactly unique: the protagonist has to find his family—if they’re still alive. Brian Keene has a similar plot in The Rising. But if you’re seeking a good old zombie story, this is probably one of the better books out there right now.
