I think it's probably just that I'm not big on werewolf films in general.
I suppose the creatures looked good and all, and the gore was sufficient, it just didn't really feel like a "movie" to me. The plot, even with the "twist" just seemed very thin, and the whole thing felt a little mindless to me. I mean, I've seen werewolf films I can recall liking - I think there was one called silver bullets?, I was a teenage werewolf, 'wolf' was cool, even though that was more
original werewolf - wolfman type theme, the first howling I thought was alright (crap bunch of sequels though), and american werewolf was great fun, romansanta was cool too...and then there's those that I haven't liked, such as cursed, underworld, the howling sequels, gingersnaps, and I tend to group this one in with those.
Personal taste I guess...I mean I didn't HATE it hate it...just felt like by the end it was a chore sitting through it, and that if I never saw it again, that'd be ok by me.
...I liked the part where the guy ran into the stick though?
