I've had a interest in serial killers for a long time. Even when I was quite young, I owned the Complete Guide to Jack the Ripper, Helter Skelter and other serial killer works. So, Copycat was insanely entertaining for me. It was cool to see reference to so many murderers.
On top of that, it was seriously creepy to watch as a child. I still have a fear of someone injecting me with Windex.
