No, I don't think I'd moderate anyways. No doubt I'd have certain people in my face immediately with their "I guess you'll ban me now" shit, and keep at it until I was forced to act, and they were banned for legitimately causing a disturbance in this manner, and then I'd be the bad guy...Always fun when people who actually cause the fights hide behind the guise of "but they started it" all the while being manipulative and thinking their attempts to stir shit and bait others are subtle, rather than obvious.
However, I think that everyone should have the right to moderate their own thread, within reason...no doubt certain people would just be erased or banned from certain threads immediately, before it was even considered if the post was relevant or not. If this were the case, I'd personally be pretty fair about it. Everyone's got the right to express their opinion, and I'd say that unless they did so in a deliberately insulting manner, or came in simply to cause arguments, I'd be happy to have anyone up in here post in threads I make. It's when they just wreck shit, one way or another, that I'd block them from threads. Would this divide people? Only if they were completely immature about it.
Who knows...if enough of the "mods" think this is a viable option, they might mention it to horror, and he might get it done by oh, say 2009?
