I agree. Halloween fans need to give Zombie a chance before writing the film off before its even been made. I dont think this is the greatest casting choice either, but we have to see how Zombie uses the height of this guy. If Zombie specifically signed this guy because of his height, and that is a dominating theme in the movie, it could definitely be trouble.
I think one of the "scary" things about Myers is that he could be anybody. A psycho who hides behind bushes and watches you, strategically coming in for the kill. Things will be a little different with an almost 7 foot myers. Myers doesnt need to be Andre the Giant to be effective.
I have nothing against Zombie trying to "reimagine" the original. But he is definitely walking a fine line between something that has the potential to be brilliant to something that could easily turn into a joke. Trying to "humanize" Myers could blow up in his face.
