Hm... a hard one. I'd say Saw, though. Final Destination one brought us a very creative plot, which deserves high marks alone in today's originality-is-dead society. The second used the same formula, and kicked it up a notch, and the third... while a terrible movie in all aspects, entertained the HELL out of me.
Saw one made my jaw drop in the finale, Saw 2's twist was ruined for me... but still made my excited inside, and I hear Saw 3 is even better.
Final Destination -> quality drops.
Saw -> quality increases.
Here's to one of the few franchises that IMPROVES rather then deteriorates.
