wish fvj was made sooner being a longtime hardcore fan of both franchises i mean if it where mad back when these movies had that certain feel to it, would have been cool to see wut the producer could have pulled off but these days we got alot more better technology and its too easy to do all these effects. i just wish the movie would have been old school

I thought what saved the movie was its new CG and effects. Along with Robert England. They DID show those oldschool freddy clips at the begining tho that was kinda oldschool.
But i thought the new cg gave freddy's nightmare scenes alot more power and helped him get his scare-factor back. Im glad we didnt see alot of the old wise-crackin freddy, and this time robert was more about takin care of business.
