At the turn of the century a group of diggers became trapped beneath London while working on the tunnels for the new tube-train. Somehow surviving underground, the group eventually become inbred cannibals who now prey on late-night stragglers that roam the station. The very last of the group kidnaps a young lady in hopes of replacing his dead spouse, but the woman's boyfriend and the police slowly close in on their location.
