There's nothing wrong with either of them, if that's what you want to watch so be it. We all have our faves, just because someone doesn't agree with you, that's their hard lines, have you asked them what their faves are, you may think that their choice is just as bad.
My fave horrors are Jaws & King Kong (original). They may not be scarey, but are simply works of art, that still hold many peoples affection.
I like Jaws because I can remember seeing it at the pictures and as for King Kong, when you think it was made back in 1933, the special effects for its time IMO haven't been equalled.
